Thank you so much for repairing the jailbreak file for Kindle 2i 2.5.6. Screen saver photos are now my beauitful grandchildren!

Oh my! I just installed Halvetica2 font on my Kindle 2i 2.5.6....OH MY HEAVENS!

I can now read the menu without magnify glass. So dark and clear! I also can easily read comfortably at font size at 3 whereas prior to font install hack...i was reading at 6 or 7! Talk about THRILLED!

@JohnsonZA: Working on it. Letting it simmer on the back of my head payed off, I've got a somewhat okay solution to the fontconfig issue for the browser fonts settings...

Works perfectly on my UK 3G+WiFi Kindle. Jailbreak applied & I now have custom screensavers.

Not really. With some minor changes to linkfonts/bin/font.properties it may work for the reading part of the firmware. But the webkit browser doesn't use netfront.ini. Probably uses /etc/fonts/local.conf. So, the update itself will work, but linkfonts would need some changes.
