Sorry, I just realized there's no SD card in my N905 model so probably no image. Could someone point me in a right direction, where do I start fixing this model stuck in a loop, it keeps "restoring" over and over?

The only thing that I know you can do is a manual factory reset. The instructions are in https://help.kobo.com/hc/en-us/artic...our-Kobo-Touch. It probably won't work as it is basically what is happening. But, there might be something different about it that works.

The only other possibility is booting from the external SD card. This seems to work for the Aura when booting from an image for the Aura H2O. But, I don't know if it can boot from the external SD card and I don't know if there is an image to use. The image for the N905B might be close enough, but, I don't know.

Hi David. I'm new to the forum, my kobo's sd card got corrupted so i bought a new 1 but now i really need a img. I'm using a kobo touch N905. Thanks in advance.

The N905 is a Touch, but, it is the model without an internal SD card. The two models with an SD card are N905B and N905C. They have different hardware and need different images. I need the correct model number to supply the correct image, otherwise, it won't work. The model number should be on the end of the device.

The factory reset is what I would usually suggest. And making sure that the cables were connected and the SD card seated properly. And that the device is charged. Otherwise, make sure there is no damage to the screen. If it has been cracked it might not show changes. And try it when plugged in. If the battery is dying, you could get that behaviour. Lastly, just leave it plugged in. Quite a lot of people have given up and then reported the device was running fine the next day.
