Thanks Davidfor for the image

My Kobo still doesn't work though, it seems to be an issue with the image. I think this because when I put an android image on my Kobo it worked flawlessly.
When I turn on the Kobo with the stock image, it just flashes for a few seconds green and blue before flashing green a few times then nothing else happens. No changes occur on the screen.

Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

I don't know of any problem with the image. I haven't sent it out much lately. I haven't had a response one way or the other for the last few, so I assume they worked.

Are you sure you have an N905B? If you have the N905C, you need a different image.

Yes, I definitely have a N905B, I tried holding the button as well but it just flashes white for a while then nothing happens. Could it be that the image only uses 2GB while my SD card is 4GB? There's a lot of unallocated space although I don't see how that could affect it.

I'm honestly clueless about how to solve this

Was this to do the factory reset as I suggested in the PM? And if so, did you follow all the instructions? This only works if the device is powered off. And the steps I sent are to ensure this and that the battery has charge.

It shouldn't. The important thing is to restore the image correctly. You can extend the book partition if you want to.

Apart from the above and what I suggested in the PM, I can't think of anything. That the Android image worked when this doesn't, suggests it is the card, the image or how you applied it. It might be a good idea to redownload it to check it is OK.

Yeah I did the factory reset that you had suggested, I'm pretty sure I did the instructions correctly. All that happened however, was the lights alternated between green blue then changed to just green then red then flashing white. Nothing on the screen changed. I charged the device for a couple hours prior to that as well.
After re-downloading the image 3 times and writing it to the sd card a couple times it still didn't work...
