The image was taken shortly after a factory reset. After you restore it, you will be prompted to do the setup. That will include downloading the latest available firmware.

Thanks heaps! Now if I could only get the battery to start...In for a long charge I think, it hasn't been charged for two years and is completely unresponsive.

I have a Kobo N905B. I manually downgrade the firmware and now the SD card is corrupted and the reader cannot boot.
Did anybody have a SD card image?
Please help.

Unfortunately, we can't supply an image. The N905 version of the Touch has fixed internal memory. That makes it harder to create an image for. And if I had one, I would have no idea how to restore it to a device that wasn't running.

My Kobo will not star anymore. Screen is blank and no reset works. I have opened it and I will try with the firmware image on the internal SD Card. Any advice to remove it without broken it??

I have sent you a PM with the link for the Touch N905.

To open the device, have a look at Memory Upgrade Mod Guide. That has photos of opening the Glo, and opening the Touch is similar.
