Looking carefully the screen seems broken, but the glass is is intact.

Yes, the screen is broken. There is a very thin sheet of glass behind the e-ink screen. If this gets damaged, it shows on the screen like this.

My Kobo Touch is stuck on the sleeping mode and I tried all the different reset method with no luck.

Can someone please send me an image for the N905C.

I have frozen my Kobo Touch by attempting a direct install of the firmware. I thought the Touch I was working with (my daughter's) was the same as mine an original Touch (N905/N905B Model). I find on it becoming frozen on the restarting screen that it is a model N905C.

David, could you please PM me a link to an image for the N905C.
