Would people who have bricked their Touches please give details (including specific firmware and model if appropriate) of what you did? You would be giving useful information that may prevent someone else from repeating the same mistake and bricking their Touch.

Kobo Touch Ereader (8857A-KBN905C) stuck at restarting
Upgrading failed and is now stuck at restarting, herstellen. Could someone please send me a SD Card firmware image for the Kobo Touch Ereader 8857A-KBN905C ?

And point me to some instructions on how to write to the SD Card for either Ubuntu or Windows systems?

I would like download an image of the sd card of the kobo for a new instal.
My kobo is a touch KOBON905 (without letter after the 905)

If your device doesn't have an exchangeable sd card, this is really a problem. But are you sure that your device is really bricked? Is it fully charged? Did you try a factory reset?

Factory reset (after charging): Hold the power slider in the off positon for about 20 seconds to make sure the device is off.
Hold down the lhome and power the device on while keeping the home button held down until the led starts to shine. This should force a factory reset.

Hello, my kobo touch don't start.the factory reset doesn't work with the button reset and too holding power and home.
Now the led flashing with a blue color during 0.1s.

Anthony_W: From the number, that should be an N905C Touch. I have sent you a PM. Before using this, make sure that you it is an N905C. The model is shown on the end of the device that has the USB socket.
