Question:
Is it possible to tweak order_threadmarks_by_date, I am noticing a bug related to post/chapter order. The issue: Posts made the same date can sometimes get placed in the wrong order by FFF (base_xenforoforum, SpaceBattles). Example: https://forums.spacebattles.com/thre...insert.662488/ Code:
The order, as shown in the forum (added post date to 3 posts): Prologue -- (Posted Jul 15, 2018 6:21 PM) Chapter One Chapter Two Chapter Three Chapter Four Chapter Five -- (Posted Jul 16, 2018 2:29 AM) Chapter Six -- (Posted Jul 17, 2018 4:06 AM) The order, as shown within the epub: Chapter Two Chapter Three Chapter Four Chapter Five -- (Posted Jul 16, 2018 2:29 AM) Prologue -- (Posted Jul 15, 2018 6:21 PM) Chapter One Chapter Six -- (Posted Jul 17, 2018 4:06 AM) Code:
[base_xenforoforum] order_threadmarks_by_date:true Wild Guesses: Maybe base_xenforoforum forums at some point changed the layout of the post-date-time or something, in a way that was only obvious for stories were chapters were posted within a 24-hour-window (which shouldnt happen that often). Maybe even then it only shows up in some rare instances (maybe the author threadmarked the chapter in a strange order, used/changed post titles etc). Or maybe the issue is to simply use something like: tweak order_threadmarks_by_date-hour-min-sec instead of tweak order_threadmarks_by_date Versions etc: Calibre 5.23.0 FanFicFare 4.3.0 Trying to find the answer in the thread: I couldn't find this issue being brought up before in the thread (though it is rather long, so I might have missed it). I tried searching this thread for "order_threadmarks_by_date" but found nothing. |

Question: Do you pass the Username / Password for the site www.lushstories.com?
I have noticed for the last little while I have been getting partial stories in my epub ... it seems that site now does not allow you to see the story in its entirety unless you are logged in ... I have added my Username and password to the personal.ini file however and checked it a couple of times ... If I log in via chrome or firefox I see the entire story ... when logged in ... if I am not logged in I see the story end where FFF stops as well ... this would indicate to me the credentials are not being passed ... I'm getting a ff.net the error:
'str' object cannot be interpreted as an integer browser cache is from Google Chrome (not an offshoot) and in Win10. This started happening a few days ago, but I was hoping it was just a glitch. It's now up to 3 different fics (the last 3 I've tried to download) so I'm assuming it's not a single fic problem. Edit just in case it's needed one of the fics is: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13677583/1/Elune-s-Pebble Last edited by Atherton25; 07-19-2021 at 01:40 PM. |

Are you using the test version? If not, give it a try and see if that fixes it first - i would not be surprised if it's related to the blockfile key issues other people have been having recently.

Yeah, I am, and I'm pretty sure it didn't start happening until after that install. I just reinstalled it to be sure and restarted calibre. I restarted calibre, cleared cache and refreshed the pages and it worked, but I know I had that update installed. Even checked the last time I got the plugin downloaded file. Strange.

Do you have any other Chromium-based browsers to test with? Vivaldi and Edge are two. Might be helpful to see if the issue's specific to your specific Chrome.

"I restarted calibre, cleared cache and refreshed the pages and it worked" was what I said. I dont know why it wasn't working before, I had the latest update, as I'm quite sure the problems started *after* the update... but I dont know why reinstalling it worked. *shrug*. |

Ah sorry, I misunderstood that. It's possible that the cache was messed up in some manner and clearing it fixed that.

The solution in this particular case is easy: Turn off order_threadmarks_by_date. Collecting threadmarks(chapter list) and collecting posts occur at different times; I don't think it's practical to change order_threadmarks_by_date to use the post datetimes. |
