Let's face it - most of the time when I read the posts to try and understand all of this, I get incredibly lost. I just know I can't get my FFnet stories to upload to my Calibre library (again) because the FFF plug-in isn't working. Being technically challenged as I am, I am willing to try something else. Any suggestions?

Weird glitch I'm running into - any in-progress fic where I've sent it via email to my Kindle to read, if I then try to send an updated version to the Kindle, only the old version shows up without the new chapters. This occurs even when I go into my Kindle account to delete any prior instances of the fic.

I know the quick fix is to physically plug my Kindle into my computer and transfer that way, but I have a limited number of USB ports and they're all used by other necessary peripherals, so I'm hoping there's a better solution.

What is your email provider? Some people have been having difficulty with emails Calibre sent from certain ones.

I set up a GMX email for this. It generally works fine and all books sent are received by my Kindle...except for any fic that has new chapters.

Granted, I'm not sure why it would cause old versions of the fic to appear on your Kindle instead.

Thanks ... for Mac users, you need to enclose the address in quotes because of the space in the file name:

Browser_cache_path: "~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Application Cache/Cache"

Set up a brand new gmail account, allowed it access to my Kindle device on Amazon.com. Same problem: old fic version shows up, not the new one. I even doublechecked that it was no longer in my Amazon Documents storage.

It might be worth asking over in the Kindle section - it sounds more like an emailing problem than an FFF one.

It's been quite some time since I tried it, but I found Amazon's email to Kindle feature to be unusably unreliable.

As I recall, I saw the same issue you did--Amazon seems to assume that books never change and won't send updated books. The only solution I found was to change the title.

Further, Amazon would suddenly stop passing / start rejecting books without explanation. The same books that worked before, even. And then later they might work again.

Regardless, it's really outside the scope of FFF.

No idea--never heard of it before. If it is a Chromium derived browser there's a good chance.

(Anybody else remember using Netscape version 0.9 and the pulsing N? )

Brave is a Chromium browser, so it should work.
