@ well I was going to try and comment on the various ones but I give up and will just say... What a wide variety of music!

@ verencat Amon Tobin - Slowly Aphex Twin - a mad man (much better)

Poor phonograph (I think I still have an old one like that at my parent's house)

a nice happy place, but I have this strange .. well, something about anything slightly countryish ... must have something to do with an ex boyfriend

Gesh good thing I saw it way before bedtime nobody needs doomsday 12-21-2010 with this guy out there (vid-wise anyway) that one just screams for somebody to .."FEED ME".

Whatever their name was at the various times I saw them in SF, partied with some , lots of Golden Gate concerts back then (usually free) and later private club dates let's see Tower of Power (I think this was someone's private BD party in Menlo Park), Peter Frampton (I think an "On the Green" thing, Mamas and the Papas, Sony and Cher, Rolling Stones I'm brain dead on the others I think it was the times...

Here is one from those times Picture people packed standing, sitting, dancing, etc. and aid stations along the perimeter (OD and bad tripper help)

and what else but... California Dreaming ...

Dreams, you know I would KILL to see a Led Zep concert? When they did the reunion show, I actually tried to figure out a budget to get there!

That's ok, dreams, I resigned myself long ago to the fact that I'm in a distinct minority with my musical tastes. Jim Brickman isn't usually considered country, he's New Age instrumental, but he does tend to collaborate with a number of country stars, like Lady Antebellum in that video, and Martina McBride on his famous "Valentine".
Sorry about the ex boyfriend leaving you with a something for country... there's some good stuff out these days.

Isn't it amazing how music is tied to emotions or is it emotions tied to music? Whatever. I still hate "Hey Jude" by the Beatles. It was played over and over and over and friends were going to Vietnam.

Now-a-days I listen to something fast-paced unless I'm stressed and then I go New Age or classical to unwind. As soon as I relax then I switch to loud and fast-paced again.

It makes for an interesting mix outdoors when all the neighbors are working in the yard. On the one side they play Tex-Mex and the other side plays either country (that she sings to) or Hawaiian (she is in a dance troupe that competes). I have learned to just plug in my earphones and crank mine up.

We have the same thing here. My neighbor-on-the-left plays oldies, and the people across the street like hard rock. We have either hairspray metal (Chris) or country (me) going. When the neighbor-on-the-right's son is there, he plays Pantera at top volume. None of it really bothers me, although I really prefer the neighbor-on-the-left's oldies; because I too like to sing along.
