Walking After You - Foo Fighters

If you'd accept surrender, I'll give up some more.
Weren't you adored?
I cannot be without you, matter of fact...
I'm on your back.

If you walk out on me, I'm walking after you.

Broken English by Marianne Faithful

Could have come through anytime,
Cold, lonely, Puritan
What are you fighting for?
Its not my security.
Its just an old war,
Not even a cold war,
Don't say it in Russian,
Don't say it in German,
Say it in Broken English.

madame b, i think you would like Jacques Rémus' mécamusique. if ever they let you back into paris you look me up and i'll take you to his workshop. in the meantime, you can take a look at his website :

http://www.mecamusique.com/
particularly this page which will give you descriptions of his amazing musical machines.

i found a couple of videos, but they are really not comparable to the real experience.

As a member of "The Church of Appliantology (we worship appliances) I enjoyed the "musical washing machine ensemble." Though our main god Maurice (a toaster) got a little jealous.

Well, I see you've posted three times - two of them in UNUTTERABLY SILLY threads, and one in here, which verges on the UNUTTERABLY SILLY at times.

Good show. Welcome aboard the silly-train.

"Pardon me boy, is this the Transylvania Station?"

I'm not listening to anything much at the moment, though a few minutes ago Oscar, my happy-little-slapstick-cuddly-geriatric-rescue-puppy-dog, decided that the house needed defending in the form of him rushing to the top of the outside stairs, barking in his rarely-heard old-man-coughing form. I believe he - the generally quiet and joyful dog that would lead break-and-enters happily to the biccie barrel to get him a treat - must have momentarily channelled the late Monty, whose deep-chested, ground-shaking, tectonic-rumble, growlf-and-barks would cause internal haemorrhaging in any break-and-enter that wasn't wearing a kidney belt. Funny dog, my Oscar.

Cheers,
Marc
