Does someone have the original instructions for the Root Master app? The instructions I find say make sure you hit the purple button at the end which of course does me no good for the T62.

Couldn't get adb working on Window 7
However ADB working on ubuntu fine.
Is there a rooting kit for Ubuntu with instructions ?

Thanks. I found a video myself but it wouldn't play.

To embed youtube you only need the text after v= and no url.

i have just got my new T62+, and i want to root it. since i havent done that in a while, i have some Q's about the adb driver installtion:
ive done the firsts steps, and added the line in the ini file. now it said to:

6- Run "adb kill-server".
Q: where to run it??

7- Connect your device and run "adb devices" (you should see your device).
Q: again, where, and how, to run it?

Thanks for the tip! Could you explain what significant improvements it did to your device. Hoping for batterylife ... too.

I made the script translation yesterday so I can't yet say about the battery life although my battery is still full (100%) after 13h in sleep, on my other devices it did improve battery life too but can't yet say about this one. Anyway the main improvements I get are: less lag, less apps crashing (chrome kept crashing after about 30 mins usage with just one tab), it also seems internet pages load faster....well mainly the device seems much smoother.

EDIT: WARNING! If you want to use Xposed and L Speed (at least on FOV's ported C67ML ROM) you must first disable the mount namespace separation option in SuperSU otherwise after installing Xposed and rebooting you will have no root and also no way to connect the device to the PC (either mtp or adb, just doesn't work) fortunately you still can uninstall Xposed even without root and reboot and fix it after.
