Howdy, first of all, this is an epic project. Much thanks to everyone involved, I cant believe so much enhancement has been coming out of this united project.

But I'm finding that I can no longer use Calibre, with my device. I can transfer (some) files but cannot read the device or change Collections tagging.

Should I be using the original Sony Library software? Although I'd be sad to leave Calibre behind.

Hm, PRS+ doesn't do anything fancy with system internals, when device is connected to your PC, PRS+ doesn't even run. I wonder what could stop Calibre from working.

What does the error message say?

oh, sorry, i made a mistake, i want to get the 'resources' directory to supply Cinese Font. I have already got a Chinese Package, so i want to integrate the PRS+ and the Chinese Package. Thank you very much. And i have a question: Sometimes, After i insert(re-insert) the SD card(the SD card scan function is enable), then the reader screen will be freezed. Excuse for my bad English.

At the moment there is no support for font replacements in PRS+ (besides reflashing using igorsk's flasher, but I guess Chinese fonts are too big to do it this way, there is only about 2mb of free space in fsk flash). This way should work, however:

Regarding re-inserting SD card: the problem, in this case, could be in either in PRS+ or in your hack, or both. Try not to do it very fast, i.e. say wait 5 sec after ejecting, before you reinsert it. I hope that helps.

Next release of PRS+ will have an option to run custom shell scripts on ebook startup. This would greatly simplify integration of font replacement/ unicode/win1251 hacks.

I get a message saying that my database has been corrupted.

Is there a way to get the device to rebuild my database without effecting the enhancements that I've installed?

Database is basically "/database/cache/media.xml" file in the internal memory (and sony reader/cache/cache.xml (I don't remember exact path) in case of external cards). Try to rename it to media.bak2 and restart the reader. I'd also suggest checking internal memory for file system errors.

I renamed both the media.xml on the internal device and the cache.xml on the memory card. Then rebuilt. But I still get the message on connection.

ERROR: Device database corrupted:
<p>The database of books on the reader is corrupted. Try the following:
<ol>
<li>Unplug the reader. Wait for it to finish regenerating the database (i.e. wait till it is ready to be used). Plug it back in. Now it should work with calibre. If not try the next step.</li>
<li>Quit calibre. Find the file media.xml in the reader's main memory. Delete it. Unplug the reader. Wait for it to regenerate the file. Re-connect it and start calibre.</li>
</ol>

how do I check the internal memory for File system errors?, via explorer?

It should also be possible via explorer,

1) right click on the im drive in windows explorer
2) choose "properties" in popup menu
3) go to the "tools" (or something like it) tab
4) there should be a button "check for errors"
