Would it be possible to have the NEWEST info in the FIRST POST, keep updating it, so we get the latest info on this stuff.

I'm trying to figure out NOSCAN and it would be helpful to have link to best info out.

I have looked through these pages and tried various things with no luck yet, so , having the FIRST POST updated every few days gives all of us Latest Info and files and we can read the whole thread for history and posting tips or problems.

P.S.
What am I doing wrong about the Noscan:

I created notepad doc and change it to extension .noscan then I place it in root of SD card.
When I place SD in reader it takes forever to read, is it suppose to do this the FIRST time or NEVER take that long. First post is very confusing on this NOSCAN thing.
Can someone put in plain English what we are suppose to do?

You are not supposed to create a file with extension .noscan - .noscan is the whole filename. Admittedly, in Windows world it is uncommon to have such filenames (just "extension", no "name"), but they are perfectly legal.

Thanks very much , they should post what you wrote in the FIRST page. After reading much of this thread, you were the only one that stated it in way that worked for me.

I have a little problem, if i want to installed the hacks o image only can do it using universal flasher igorks v 2.0, because if i use the version 2.1 appears the signal not allawed togheter clock when press the button 4 o 5 depending what i am doing. do you know what's the reason.

Kartu, I just uploaded some pics. I did a forced push as I received an error message when pushing normally. Well, I'll just write the bit of text I had again.
I hope I can keep going a little longer than the last time. My Internet was off for the last 2 days.

Mike, I've just uploaded v 1.0 RC, it contains "Screenshot" and "Key Bindings" that will come in handy when creating screenshots.

Looks even better yet again... Thanks. I take it just toss existing files in database and reflash and replace database...

I've just got used to the previous version and it's really great... I can now use it how I originally envisaged... a library in my pocket with easy access

What are the diferences between your flasher and the universal flash by Igorsk (only to delete the rest of the folders for other firmware installed)? it's posible to restart other images created before with your flasher, .

Could you explain me with more details the keybindings use?

do you have any example of the file css?

As far as flashing goes, the only differences between igorsk's flasher and my version of it are:
1) images created with pressing "5" are saved on SD card as new_opt3.img
2) Flashing firmwares other than 1.1.0.18040 is disabled (by deleting corresponding folders)

I don't have time to write key bindings guide at the moment.

Regarding epub styles, you better ask pepak in the corresponding thread, as it's his hack, I've just integrated it into PRS+ on his request.

Kartu, I just saw that you released 1.0. Great work. I'll download it sometime over the weekend and will then adjust "use and care" wiki.
I think next time, I'll first download the latest version so I don't have to force push.
Like said before, this is kind of new to me, so I'm still learning by doing.

Ooops, just checked the wiki. Where did my text from yesterday go? Any idea? I was down to the settings menu and had planned to go on there.

Kartu, just downloaded RC1. The installation guide advises to put Database-folder to the SD-Card from the zip file. Well, there's no database folder in the zip file. I'll just go with the one that is still on my SD-card. I left that one untouched.

Maybe I downloaded the wrong zip-file, but I found database folder. So let's see if it works. So far, all I got is the original fw :-(

I guess your settings got lost in forced pushes. I've tried to restore them. Could you please check if that is the latest version?

Firmware and script are now split into 2 releases. (since script will update much more frequently than the firmware). "/database" is contained in http://prs-plus.googlecode.com/files...ript_1.0RC.zip

Don't forget to pull/update your wiki repo before you do the next push.

Ok, replying to my own post ;-)

Everything seems to work. It was the appropriate database-folder that was missing. Additionally, I copied that to the SD-Card...lol.

Kartu, are all of the menus and items working, or is there something I have to consider once I start writing up a manual?
I'll put something together in a editor first and then copy to the project web page. Once finished, I'll most likely put it up as a pdf for download, too.
