The dictionary works fine with the sd card into the reader. Is not possible to activate the dictionary without SD?

Not at the moment. But it will be when release comes (known bug will be fixed).

I'd suggest configuring jedit to use UTF8 by default (if you don't it will use your systems default encoding):
Utilities -> Global Options -> Encodings
And in a combo box "Default character encoding" select (or type) UTF8

After insert SD into Reader you should restart reader manually (or connect/disconnect by USB).

I've noticed something strange with the beta. When you open an epub file, the text size doesn't seem to be "remembered" from the last time you had the book open. Instead, it reverts to whatever you have set as the default size, S, M or L. This happens whether you are using the custom epub user style sheet or not. It only happens with epub, not LRF or text files (I haven't tried PDF).

Will it be possible to use these goodies without actually switching to russian interface? Not that I completely forgot the russian I learned in school some 20ish years ago, but still prefer english interface

No, at the moment you could customize it only using beta test pack, or harnessing PRS+ build tool (which isn't hard to use) and creating your own custom version of it.

English JS doesn't have them at all (it doesn't have any "Sony" part of localization, as it's already localized), but you could use Sample.js, which has all English strings.

Haha, thanks, as long as I don't have a chance to brick the device, I'm all up for modding some stuff inside, will see if I can get used to the russian ui, with the idea to be compatible with your next releases, or will take my chances

Kartu, I just saw on the project page that there are quite some changes since the first release. If the beta is stable and finished enough I could update my 505 to actually see what has changed and then update the English and German manual if you want. I would go the same way like last time, putting it together as .doc for conversion to wiki and .pdf for direct download. PM me if you need/want help here.

When you open the "All Bookmarks" from the main screen, the numbers of the pages have a 1 in the final. It happens in all exept localizations in English. Neither happens when open the "Bookmarks" from the menu of book.

Kartu i've converted french.js (scripts PRS+) to UTF8 format, and incorporated the french language in the installer, UTF 8 too.
