Not wrong

I will check the website out and I have moved HS-1 to the top of my to read pile. I use a Kobo and PRS-300, so there ought not to be any issues.

I often ride my bike down the Roe PSP, and then either to Freo and back or up the Kwinana to the Leach, back along the Shelley foreshore and down again.

Been a bit too hot over summer so I've stuck to shorter rides, but once the temps (and the UV!) drop a bit I'll be back out there racking up the K's.

The heat and humidity is certainly neverending at the moment.

My wife and I often walk along the Esplanade along the Canning river in the evenings when it is cooler.

Any chance of selling via Borders? That would be a help as I have gift cards and could easily buy 2-4.

The HSJ stories are fun. I have the old version which means I have no idea which files were the files I actually used to read the stories, but do remember they were a lot of fun. Nice easy reads but creative as well with a bunch of potential for even more convoluted stories as time goes on.

Definitely one of my most fun reads in a while!

My (Australian) publisher holds all rights to the books, so they get to choose where they sell them. I managed to wangle the right to sell the ebooks via my site, after 2-3 years of presenting my case, but I can't put them up anywhere else.

Fremantle Press are a traditional publisher rather than an ebook publisher, and selling printed books within Australia and New Zealand is their goal. (They have a large back-catalogue to release as ebooks, and my series is just one tiny part of their publishing machine.)

The Hal ebooks will be on Amazon UK soon, and after that they'll investigate more sites. I'm not privy to all their plans though - my job is really to write more books.

On that note, I've handed Hal Spacejock Jnr book one to the publisher and am currently working on Hal Spacejock 5 AND Hal Jnr book 2 at the same time.

Thanks for the nice wrap!

If you pm me with your email addy I'll send you the latest versions of the books. I know you've already read them, but you might want to read them again one day.

happy to, I really enjoyed them. Read them back-to-back-to-back-to-back. I really enjoy the idea of the buddy story with robots and stange orange things running around near and far!! Thanks to Robbie the Robot for getting that ball rolling waaaaay back when.

It is great to be able to get hold of ePUB versions rather than Amazon format only though. So the ability to buy direct from yourself is excellent.

Oooh - how cool. I didn't know Simon was a member here. I have yWriter on my home laptop in case I can actually get off my proverbial and start planning a story.

Just purchased the entire series. Thanks for making them available.

Regards

I've put some more snips from each book onto the relevant pages. I'm hoping it will give potential readers a better idea what they're in for ...
