Warm, humid...yeah, even I'm getting bored.

(I'm not really complaining. My house isn't under water - way north of me - nor blown apart by bushfire - way south of me - so the weather's fine, no matter how warm or humid).

I'm relieved to hear you are nowhere near either of those catastrophes. (I thought that was the case, but my Australian geography is sketchier than sketchy... not even pointillist.)

It rained yesterday, and its been raining all day again today.

Do you have any idea how rare that is in this part of Arizona?

All my cacti will die!

Seriously, as badly as we need rain, I won't complain. Just wish people would realize how slick the streets are!

So, I didn't dream that there was some flooding in Australia... I tend to not watch the news when I'm on holiday (besides, I sometimes find that Swiss German dialect hard to follow...) but we happened to come across some news program when we were seeing what channels we had. We didn't really watch it and when we got home we only heard about the bush fires.

It is "snowing" here. Those big, wet flakes, that won't even actually touch the ground before melting.

This morning it was very gloomy, dark, windy, and humid.

At lunchtime it was spitting rain and we were under a tornado watch.

Now at 3:00pm, it is warm and sunny with crystal blue skies.

I expect plagues of locusts to arrive at about rush hour to make the drive home meteorologically interesting.
