Rain, and other liquid wetness today.

You'll see, there will be 1 meter of snow in the first week of february... Or the trees will start budding and we'll have that 4 day heavy frost period in march.

Thanks for the tip, Sparrow. We´ll probably try this next winter

At the moment "the project" looks like this (picture below). We figured out to get best results by first creating small ice walls, crash them and fill the big form with ice pieces and cold water. I´m quite sure we won´t have an ice house this winter, but maybe we´ll have an ice bar where we can serve (whomever) winter cocktails...

No, not cool... cold...

I remember making an igloo once. It was magnificent and I do know it kept pretty well (considering we hardly have snow to make a snowman, let alone an igloo! Though back then, there used to be more snow, more often)

I saw this cool thing on TV once, it was an igloo maker for skiers (in case of emergencies or whatever). I wanted to buy one!

We got 5 inches of snow (11 cm) yesterday and today it's -8 F (- a lot C) and on Thursday the temps won't get above 0 F for HIGHs! I am expecting a half inch of sleet and a tornado on Friday, just to make the week complete.

I'm looking into the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville (FL) department, but they don't seem to have any openings.

Sunday there was a 59 car pileup on a highway near where I used to live. About 100 people were injured, but no fatalities, thankfully. That was the day I was complaining that I couldn't get together with my mom for Indian food due to snow. Kind of puts things in perspective.
