Hmm, our strawberries (which we've a million of I think) are still growing and very green! But I noticed the grapes are growing, the raspberries are exploding and the blackberry is still flowerless...

Strawberries are doing very nicely in the polytunnel !!! One lot picked on Friday night to have with ice-cream - another lot expected tonight .....

Grapes are in leaf, but no flowers. No flowers on the wild raspberries, nor the wild blackberries....the latter were especially bountiful last year.....

We had wonderful weather yesterday - and I actually took the day off

I'm paying for it today, tonight and tomorrow (still good weather ..) - but it was totally worth it.

At 6 pm this evening the outside temp was 97 F. (36 C)

Took the deep fryer outside, set up a table under the patio cover, and had french fries, chicken nuggets and a salad for dinner.........after we got out of the pool

31 C here in SK. Built two book shelves for my dads living room. Repaired some of his underground sprinkler system and got a good start on my tan. Pretty good day all round.

ahh, that explains it, ours are in the full ground. There are some huge ones though!

Our grapes are in a perfect spot, against a wall, facing south, out of the cold wind... We got over 5kg of grapes from that one bush last year...
