Flashvideo Skyfire problem noted

Obviously if you're a vet or are smart enough to comb through the forums for information to improve your PE exp, you've noticed that the closest to get Flash video working is Skyfire. It allows you to play the video, but i'm sure you've noticed the buffer screen problem.

Sorry, but I don't have a fix. If anyone has ideas on getting Flash to actually work, feel free to post. I created this thread to let you all know I have posted our problem to Skyfire's help page, which the moderator responded.

Basically they've noted the buffer screen freeze problem and said they'd keep it in mind for the next update. I'm not getting my hopes up, but at least they know the problem for other users. It'll be a while before Skyfire issues a new update to help users like ourselves, but since we're stuck in 2.2 land, I won't complain if its eventually fixed.

*Edit* If anyone would like to add to the skyfire page(PE/EE info, comments, or anything useful.) Feel free to post on it or ask me to include on the Problem Page for you. Developers never have to much information for updates. I'm likely to offer my support on beta updates if they actually care/let me support Edge devices. (I'd support EE if I had one, PE for now :P)

Hi ATFmac!

Thanks for posting! I was looking for Skyfire this morning and could not find it outside of Google Market. Is that where you got yours? Do you (does anyone) know where to get Skyfire besides the Market?

On a side note, my EE browser crashing problem no longer haunts me since I disabled javascript in the native browser. Thank goodness, and thank you Gunner!

No problem Mokel, although a smaller then preferred support community, it has some indepth people. I enjoy my PE and what the community has done so far and thought I'd help bunker down for the long haul.

Although I'm sure my risky behavior will get me in trouble one day with my PE lol
