Awakening: Dead Forever Book 1 is today's featured sponsor on Kindle Nation Daily. Drop by and have a look:
http://bit.ly/8XTrnd AWAKENING - William Campbell Dead Forever Book 1 94K words/266 pages $0.99 In a conformist society that reincarnates, insurgents are eliminated by erasing the memory of past lives. A reluctant hero escapes the dead forever process, but stricken with amnesia, begins a quest to awaken his memory then confront the enemy. Eager to arouse his past, a flirtatious member of the rebel team shows him the life he once enjoyed, and more. Awakening begins the Dead Forever trilogy. "Awakening is a professionally written and solidly edited book that I feel is well worth the price and time you'll spend on it. Cool science concepts made believable and an interesting story line by an author who's unafraid to have some fun while he's writing." --Clayton Bye, the Deepening World of Fiction BUY From: Amazon | B & N | Smashwords | Kobo | Sony -- APOTHEOSIS - William Campbell Dead Forever Book 2 128K words/364 pages $2.99 A god? No thanks, too much responsibility. Sequel to Awakening, the hero is plunged into an alien world at war and natives who either regard him as a god, or another heretic fit to burn. In a world driven to extremes of intolerance and cruelty, the hero fights for peace but his nemesis has arrived, and he likes playing god, poised to launch unthinkable wrath that fulfills a world-ending prophecy. "As entertaining as any good book, but unlike many it tackles some of the deep problems and questions of the world today, in a way that is subtle as you read the book, but makes you think when you put it down. The theological implications are fascinating." --Adam Bourke, Review Haven: Fantasy and Sci-Fi BUY From: Amazon | B & N | Smashwords | Kobo | Sony |

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned my animal rescue work and the fact we lost one of our success stories. In honor of that loss, I promised to donate my eBook royalties to Best Friends. Just a reminder. My charity drive for Best Friends comes to an end tomorrow. I’ve raised a $200 so far. If you’re planning to support the cause, this is your last chance to help push my contribution higher.
Royalties will get kicked back on the following titles: Asking For Trouble Working Stiffs The Fall Guy Road Rash Dragged into Darkness The Scrubs If you’ve bought a book or are planning to, thanks. I really appreciate it. To learn more about what I do when I’m not writing, go to: http://bit.ly/9E3zik Thanks for listening, Simon Wood |

I think it's too early to start a thread for my new book, The Venom of Vipers (it's still 3 weeks away from release), but I did start a giveaway on Goodreads that ends Dec 4. (Sorry, US residents only due to the cost of postage.)

The results are in from my charity pledge drive. My eBook sales earned $154.61 in royalties over the last two weeks. I’m going to round that up to $175.00, because I don’t like odd numbers. I also received some private donations and I’m waiting on a couple others, but that should push the total up to around the $250.00 mark. All monies will be going to Best Friends Animal Society next week.
Thanks to everyone who bought a book, made a donation, blogged, tweeted and even adopted a pet because of my pledge drive. I really appreciate and it means a lot. I know Best Friends will spend the money wisely. |

Hi, everyone,
I haven't posted here in AGES! I hope everyone is doing well. If you enjoy funny women's fiction, please check out my book, The Merry-Go-Round. It's $2.99 at Smashwords: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/9466 It's $2.39 at Kobobooks.com and the same price in Amazon's Kindle Store. It's also available at BN.com and in Apple's bookstore for iPad, etc. I recently downladed it to my iPhone which was fun. ![]() Happy reading, ~Donna~ |

Brilliant idiot alters reality and is not his body
MobileRead's very own GraceKrispy (MotherLode Book Reviews) had this to say about Awakening:
"With its quirky feel and campy writing style, I found this book to be quite readable. There are many dream sequences in the book, which made for great transitions that helped move the story along. I was almost immediately engaged in the story, excited to find out what would happen next." Read the full review: http://gracekrispy.blogspot.com/2010...book-1-by.html Review also appears on Smashwords and Amazon. Grace Elliot's historical romance, 'A Dead Man's Debt' is now available from good eBook stores and on amazon kindle.
Latest Review.'Grace Elliot has an amazing gift for writing. Her descriptions, her story progression, just the way she paints the pictures is absolutely beautiful. It is a delightful experience reading. ' Tammy- reviewer with 'Affaires de Coeur' magazine. Book Blurb.‘A Dead Man’s Debt’ by Grace Elliot. Celeste Armitage has a plan…and that plan doesn’t include marriage. After deliberately humiliating a suitor, Celeste’s despairing parents exile her to the country. But once there she discovers a sketch book of daring nude studies and is shaken to find the artist is her hostess’s eldest son, Lord Ranulf Charing. This darkly cynical lord is exactly the sort of dissipated rogue she despises most…if only her blood didn’t heat at the thought of him… Nothing is as it seems. Lord Ranulf’s life is a façade. Only he can save the Charing’s from disgrace as a blackmailer tries to ruin his late brother’s reputation. But just as Ranulf dares to open his heart to Celeste, the fury of his nemesis is unleashed… facing him with the stark choice between true love and family duty. However when Celeste guesses the truth behind his rejection, Ranulf underestimates her resolve to clear his name and in so doing places the woman he loves in mortal danger….
