Tomorrow Blossoms

When Kate’s husband, Ward, locates the son she put up for adoption as an unwed teen, she’s understandably wary. What if he looks like his father instead of Ward?

The boy, now a man, is also wary. Who are these people who suddenly want him to be a part of their lives? Where were they when he was growing up, when he needed to feel a part of something bigger? After meeting each other, everyone’s fears dissipate.

Then Ward passes away unexpectedly. Although devastated, Kate is thankful he never knew the truth. Facing the rest of her life alone, she returns to work in the company he founded. She’s still coming to grips with life as a single when she learns her son was adopted into the family of Jesse, the boy who turned her away as a pregnant teen.

“Having bought this book on the strength of reading Serendipity House, I expected it to be a good read. I was not disappointed. It was that and more. Lovely read. I shall be happy to read all other books by this author.”

Nice way to start the day! A five star review from someone who hasn't read a book in a long time! Woot.

This is for my thriller It's a Dog's Life. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0063CCIA4/

Wink Selling Empanadas in Germany

Is anyone looking for a bargain read available for less than a buck on Amazon Kindle, Apple iPad and iPhone, Barnes and Noble Nook, or Kobo readers? I was just on AmazonDE checking out my first novel, The Empanada Affair, which is selling as well or better in Germany as in the USA as a $0.99 Kindle E-book this month. The book's statistics are interesting:
Amazon Bestseller-Rang: #5.410 Bezahlt in Kindle-Shop (Siehe Top 100 Bezahlt in Kindle-Shop)
Nr. 19 in Englische Bücher > Krimis & Thriller > Krimis > Roman-noir & Hard-boiled
Nr. 68 in Kindle-Shop > eBooks > Fremdsprachige eBooks > Englisch > Belletristik > Populäre Belletristik > Action & Abenteuer
This is my first ever entry into the top 20 in sales in a class of books. That's a nice Christmas present. I hope some of you try an Empanada for New Years and like it!

BOOK ONE: The Eye of the Storm (The Stritonoly Chronicles)
http://www.amazon.com/William-L.K./e/B004G767QE

~5 STARS~
If you ever wondered why some authors are masters in the genre of Science Fiction,
it is because they intertwine enough reality in their stories to make them believable. They take you to other planets with creatures that are only in your dreams and nightmares. They take you to other worlds with some of the same mistakes and insanities that keep us awake at night here on earth.

That is exactly what William L.K. has done in his book The Eye of the Storm.

A seemingly doomed planet, a species of slave creatures, good versus evil and a young girl dying on earth. These are all merged into a Science fiction tale that will leave you breathless. You find yourself immersed in the saga of a young man bent on the destruction of not only himself and his family but of a planet that is in the eye of a storm.

BOOK TWO: Barok's Exodus (The Stritonoly Chronicles)

~5 STARS~
The story flows quite nicely from the last book and the storyline continues to flow as we get nearer to the next installment. Man continues to show his blatant disregard for human life. War is brewing on the horizon with the possibility of a catastrophic event taking place. A woman who is willing to use whatever is in her power to get what she wants. Even in this fantasy world, things are not much different then real life. As this book ends, you can see clearly where the next book will begin.

If you haven't read these books yet, I highly recommend them. If I can be swayed, anyone can. They are an excellent read for young and old alike. I am anxiously awaiting the third book in the series and I am hoping for the opportunity to read it very soon.

BOOK THREE: The Last Czar of Stritonoly (The Stritonoly Chronicles)

~5 STARS~
Ah, we finally get to the finale! As with the other two books in this series, there is a lot of action. Everyone is fighting everyone else, there are betrayals, reunions, anger, sadness, evil; all kinds of things going on! In this third story, everything comes together to a fast and furious ending. I also have to mention the covers. I've loved all the covers in this series, but this last one for The Last Czar is just gorgeous! Bravo!

The Stritonoly Chronicles brings a new twist to science fiction. The author, William L.K. draws you in with his descriptions of the worlds and its inhabitants. The characters are fun to love or hate - sometimes both at the same time. The story moves quickly, grabbing you and carrying you through the frenzied action, leaving you standing breathless at the end.

The first two in the series are The Eye of the Storm and Barok's Exodus. For true science fiction lovers, get all three and enjoy!

This review is from: Ascendants (Kindle Edition)

Ian takes us on an adventure spanning 1300 years of history and from the Canary Islands to Norway, the mountains of Sweden and sunken islands in the North Sea. The characters he creates are as memorable as those in A Confederacy of Dunces. Truly difficult to believe this is his debut book, the writing is so mature and entertaining. A cliffhanger, and adventure, a geography and history lesson, and a comedy all in one. A wide ranging adventure.

My Novel is Called Everything is Free

Thanks for this opportunity. My novel is called Everything is Free, and the title got it banned from Amazon for a while because they thought I was offering freebies! Really it's about a homeless young woman who moves into a shopping centre, which feels like a haven in the cold weather, but it has it's dark side - bomb hoaxes and a man hiding in the car park who attacks women. It tackles racism and prejudice, the way women are viewed, and is also darkly funny. It also looks at what we mean when we think about love, home and relating to others. You can find it in the US here http://www.amazon.com/Everything-Is-...5470495&sr=1-1 and in the UK here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Everything-I...5470862&sr=1-2

THE NECROMANCER - featured on Five Star Books in the Paranormal Category.

It's pretty exciting because they pick novels they think are worthy to put on the site. They don't even contact the author to tell them. An author friend, Thomas Amo, let me know I was there.

Where Dreams are Born, an e-book or print book from a small publisher.

It was supposed to be a win-win situation—a safe environment in which to raise a son for single mom Vicky, housekeeping and childcare for widowed Jack. Neither one wants or expects anything more. Life, however, has more in store than either one imagines.

“WHERE DREAMS ARE BORN is a delight to read and I'm looking forward to more books from Joyce DeBacco!” Ann of The Romance Reviews.

“Joyce DeBacco does a really good job of getting the reader invested in the outcome of this unusual pairing. Enjoy.” S. Wurman of Night Owl Reviews.

“This is truly a compelling novel of real life and will stay with me a long time”. Judith of The Book Binge.

“Joyce DeBacco pens one of those tales that is warm and loving while still mixed with trials that will touch a reader's heart.” Dee Dailey of The Romance Studio.

“ A well-written romantic novel with elements of suspense. Writing is fresh and evocative, highly readable and interesting.” Corina of Big Al’s Books and Pals.

“A stellar read.” Vine reviewer Wendy Hines of Minding Spot.

“I would recommend this book to those who like women’s fiction, romance and suspense, and who want to keep it light.” Stephanie Laymon of Five Alarm Reviews.

Sorry, but my cover disappeared from the lineup below, and I'm not going to try and fix it. Bad things happen to the others when I try. But you can access all the info by clicking on my website address.

Rubies and Other Gems - the Novel, Women’s fiction with a time-travel twist.

Lily’s life isn’t going well. Her husband is clueless; her children are rudderless. It's little wonder she seeks comfort in her dreams, unaware that grandmother’s rubies have transported her back through time to a safer, saner existence.

When she learns that her dream lover is not a dream after all, but a real man who lived and died years before she was born, family problems mount. Because she can’t repair the damage she’s done from the past, she vows to stay in the here and now. She almost succeeds when she accidentally sends herself back in time without her return ticket, the rubies.

"I would recommend this novel as one of those books that moves the reader through the days, months, and years of living, that open the reader's awareness to circumstances that, in this case, may be just a bit unique.” Judith of The Book Binge.

The website Screenrave.com named me the Featured Author of the Month for November 2011! Here's the link: Screenrave.com

The ebook version of Book 1 (The Gateway) of my epic fantasy series, Harbinger of Doom, is available FREE at Amazon, B&N, Sony, Kobo, Apple, etc.

The Gateway won 3rd Best Fantasy Novel of 2009 in the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll.

Summary of Reader Reviews:

“...as good as any fantasy tale you will read, it honors the tradition, and adds to our lore a story so good, so well told, I hope it will be remembered forever.” *--- Rai Aren, co-author of Secret of the Sands

“Thater writes with a realism like no other; fantasy lovers of sword and sorcery--check out this short first battle and be ready for the entire saga awaiting you!” -- Glenda Bixler

“...The author paints each scene and battle so clearly that I felt I was in the middle of the action.” --- Mike Monahan, author of Barracuda.

“...fast paced and exciting with characters real enough to leap out of the pages...leaves the reader craving more.” *--- Franz McLaren, author of Demon Drift and A Night of Dark Delicacies

“...Non-stop action that is written so well you can't stop reading it!” -- G.A. Endless, author of Issla: A Vampire Living in the 21st Century

“...hugely entertaining. One of the best sword and sorcery/historical fiction tales i have read in years. A truly classic yarn that i will read again and again.” -- Jimmyonly

“...the characterization is simply amazing. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys Epic Fantasy. -- Nathalia

THE HARBINGER OF DOOM SAGA

The Harbinger of Doom saga centers around one Lord Angle Theta, an enigmatic warrior of unknown origins and mystical power. No mortal man is his match in battle. No sorcery can contain or confound him. No scholar or sage can outwit him. But for all his skills, he is but one of us; a man, a human, who shares our faults, our dreams, and our ambitions. He boldly strides across the land, fearless, peerless, and cloaked in mystery; all his will bent on righting such wrongs as he deems fit.

But no man, not even our greatest hero, can stand against the Lords of Chaos and the dark armies of Nifleheim at their command. Fiends that infiltrate unseen within our ranks, that tear down our temples and our traditions; that devour us from within, unseen, unknown, unheralded, and unopposed until the hour grows far too late.

Dwellers of the Deep -- Volume 4 of Glenn G. Thater's epic fantasy series, Harbinger of Doom, is now available on kindle!

Dwellers of the Deep embraces the pulse-pounding action that the Harbinger of Doom Saga is known for, with battles so real, so immersive, you will find yourself reaching for your sword. Expansive in scope, Dwellers transforms the Saga into truly epic fantasy, and drops the reader into the Byzantine web of political intrigue that swirls about the Kingdom of Lomion.

In Glenn G. Thater’s world of Midgaard, some kill for love or honor; others die for blood and souls. In Dwellers of the Deep, the fourth volume of the saga unfolds across a vast ocean of bleak expanses and forbidden islands that harbor secrets best unspoken, ancient magics best left buried, voracious monsters of the gelid depths, and a god of the outer spheres whose wrath will shake the very foundations of Midgaard.

Within these pages, heroes and villains abound. But are the heroes those that quest with Theta to keep shuttered the portal betwixt the worlds, or those that sail with Korrgonn for god and glory, to restore Azathoth’s reign? Only you can decide. But in the end, Ob will tell you, evil is as evil does, and in Midgaard, only one thing is certain — nothing is as it seems.
