Is it possible to restore a languagebreak jailbreak that accidentally had run a vanilla firmware over it after a (probably soft)brick? The device is a Paperwhite 11th. I've written details of the case here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=365720

Also considering that the Scribe probably has firmware that will require WinterBreak to jailbreak and part of WinterBreak's prerequisites is that the Kindle must be registered, a blacklisted Kindle will not work.

Hello, I'm new to this forum and tried to use this guide to jailbreak a kindle paperwhite 7th gen. Now I'm stuck on this screen in chinese.

I've tried to factory reset without luck. Computer doesn't recognize kindle anymore.

Any tips on what I can do to fix the problem?

If the jailbreak is gone. Go to the Winterbreak Jailbreak thread.

Read the entire thread before jailbreaking for you get all the needed info.

Hello, please tell me what to do. The device is Kindle PW5. There was firmware 5.16.2.1.1 with Language Break installed, but accidentally had been updated to the latest 5.18.1. Is there a chance to restore jailbreak?

Step9 selected “sideload content,” and then connected it to my PC, but the PC doesn’t detect the Kindle. What can I do?

Stuck on step 5
Hello. I'm stuck on step five. I'm in demo mode, I do the gesture, but when I enter `;demo` it just sends me back to the main screen with no option to access the Demo Mode Configuration screen.

I'm doing this on a Kindle Paperwhite 7th generation 5.16.2.1.1

Any help would be appreciated.

I forced a reboot by holding the power button until it restarted and now entering the `;demo` command works.
