I currently have a Kindle PW 11th gen (Sig. Edition) on v. 5.14.2. From my understanding the newest Kindle is NOT jailbreakable, corrrent?

Somewhere I found a comment saying that there was a way to downgrade the firmware on a jail-broken Paperwhite 4 FW 5.14.1. Of course, now that I've actually managed to jailbreak it I can't find it again!
Does anyone know how to do this?
And before people say why?, etc., etc., I just want to do it!

Then I'm confused a bit. The Kindle Signature Ed. is the 10th gen. So Kindle Signature = PW5

Hi guys, i was able to successfully jailbreak my KV. Unfortunately, since then, my frontlight has been turning on and off every couple of minutes without any reason. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

@Prle, try to turn off "auto brightness" in kindle Settings menu or in KOreader: tools - more tools - "auto frontlight" turn off

Not working on PW2 FW5.12.2.1.1.
It stucks on step 9 of jailbreak. I keep getting the "application error", no matter what I do. I've tried the vietnamese video tutorial even, wich is a shorter method, but no luck.
I've repeated all the steps, re-checked the folders and files spelling... Nothing seems to work.
Any hint? Many thanks in advance.

My PW2 didn't respond anythings when I press done in demo sideload. And then in the setting menu, I press store icon, it just show a notification that wifi is locked, nothing happened like resboot or instal script
I've had the exact same problem. I'm using a PW2 on FW 5.12.2. And I'd be glad if anybody could help.

@nesomuse - Just wrong Kindle version. Read the compatible session. For PW2, this jailbreak method support version 5.12.2.2 only (need to be EXACT!)

Damn, please don't tell me it's that easy...

I thought it was enough matching the first four numbers, no mater the rest.

So just updating to the very FW version 5.12.2.2 shoud do the magic...
