Here's a pic taken in otherwise total darkness. The highlights on the edges of the Reader are much more contrasty in the pic than they are in real life, but I think it gives you a good idea of the evenness of the page illumination.

Oh, yeah! And I watched the original when it was broadcast. I loved any even vaguely sf show.

I think that's one reason I'm such a gadget junkie - all those toys on sf shows when I was growing up.

So far, my Reader is a favorite of all the ones I've acquired recently. What a gem this is!

Reminds me of some type of insect as well

On a more serious note the light looks wonderful.
I would certainly try it if I didn't already have verilux. IMHO it is the second lamp that has a great potential to be the right one for our reader. I am going to post it on a friendly Russian forum where BD comes from
