			Ok guys!

I'll try to collect all required courage to do the "operation" during weekend... I'm thinking about kind of things that could happen...and what if...after 10th iteration I still could connect the device to PC (USB not detected...) :-S Well...ok...I'll do it... ![]() Best regards, ^_Pepe_^ |

You've got that right! Why Sony couldn't have done something sensible like "press reset while depressing enter" or something is beyond me. Of course they are famous for crap software.

			Hi!

Bad luck. I've tried ten resets, following exactly the instructions, and finally the device starts...normally with "continue reading"... After this, if I try to reflash it with PRS Updater, no USB Connected is shown and no device is detected by windows... :-((( Regards, ^_Pepe_^ |

Just touching bases for support, Pepe. Obviously, if you had been applying 505 software to a 500, problems would result.

Regarding the bricking of your 505, I'd just advise you to try again with the unbricking. Also search the forum for others experience in unbricking the 505. I know that I was able to unbrick mine after changing fonts and in one case swapping .jpg for .png files as an experiment. Both times I used the 10 reset method. Good luck! |

To change the clock display between 12 hr and 24 hr, go to the about screen under settings. When there hit the "0" key to change the setting.
