OK. Here are the pictures.

As you can see, it is shorter than 7" by about 2/16 or 1/8, even if I push the reader down it is smaller than 7" by 1/16, while I ordered 7"+1/32...
I think I am going to call him and see if he agrees to send me the right size, however, if he says no...what can I do?

It is a nice case and I love the color, show purple but perhaps blue. I do hope he will fix this. I think what this guy needs to do because it appears many want to use his cover on top of the stock cover that he should have two measurements, one without and one with........

Doesn't he carry a money back guarantee and did you give him the correct measurements with the stock cover?

The dimensions of the pouch are as following:

W 5" (at it's widest point)

I was given the dimensions by someone who received the pouch a few days ago and used the dimensions for his order.

Colour: Purple

I was given this price break down (by someone else who also ordered the pouch from you, you are becoming very famous for Reader's users.):

+ Sony Reader Pouch (custom dimensions): $29.95
+ Hard Flap: $4.95
+ Color (Purple): $2.00

The reason why I put it here is to make sure it has this "Hard Flap", because I need the pouch to protect a sensetive reader's screen.
If I understand correctly the pouch has some stiffening material to protect the reader's screen.

So, I believe I have given him the right size from the beginning.

I spoke to him on the phone today. He is a bit odd. He didn't wait for me to tell him the reason of the phone call. He started to say immediately that he sent me the parcel and it will be with me in 2 weeks.
Then I managed to tell him that I have already received the pouch but it is too small. He was very surprised, said that he is going to check out what is wrong, then asked to send him the right dimensions again so he can make a right pouch to me.

I have sent him email:

P.S. And please do not forget about HARD FLAP, although I think it is there by default, but I would like to make sure, because it is required for screen protection.

Dunno if it works or not...I called him again to verify whether he received the email or not (I also sent him email with the same pictures I posted here), he didn't listen to me at all, he said that he didn't have a chance yet, he will send me email when he reads it and put the phone down

Just a note Astra,

The 1st one he sent me was with the following measurements 6 7/8 X 4 7/8 X 1/2. I didn't have the measurements when I 1st ordered on the phone, I only told him I know he has made plenty with the factory vinyl cover, and to please match those measurements and confirmed that fact 3 times. He said he would, and the measurements I just wrote were for the reader without the cover. That gave me the same problem as yours....stretching the material to make it barely fit.

I called him that day, he sounded annoyed said he would send me another one and hung up. I e-mailed him to send me a paid postage box so I could send the old one back. 3 days later the new one came in with a no charge return invoice and it fits perfect. The measurments on the new one are 7 X 5 X 5/8. It sounds like he just didn't measure yours correctly. This one isn't too tight, nor too short, is is perfectly measured.

It's now 5 days since I received the new one, I let Bob know I'm not paying return shipping on his mistake, and to please send me a postage stamp to mail the old pouch back, and I havent yet received a response or a stamp. He sounds like he needs help over there, he may just be too small, or has really bad help there, I don't know, but good luck, and I hope your second Pouch is the right size. I have been keeping mine in the pouch, I feel a peace of mind when I walk around with this. Let us know how it goes.

I was curious how Astra made out, here are a few photos of the pouch in black with the correct fit.

Funny thing is, he still never sent me the postage to ship the other pouch back to him, still sitting here boxed up ready to go out.

I received the second pouch today.
It fits perfectly to my stock cover. The second pouch is about 5mm taller than the first one.
When it is in my backpack I don't have to worry about dust getting into the reader and the screen is more protected this way.

I wonder how much taller/wider is the leather cover?

He didn't say anything about refunding me for sending the first pouch back to him. Just added a note asking me to send it back. Honestly, I don't know what I am going to do about it. I have already spent 52$. I will take it to the local PO and ask them how much would it cost to send it back. If it is no more than £2, I will do it otherwise he will have to refund me, in the end of the day it was his mistake not mine(after 3! emails confirming the dimensions).
