Okay, let's see:

1 husband

1 9yr old boy (who is supposed to look after the fish, but doesn't)

2 goldfish (named 'Mr Goldie' and 'Mr Hide')

2 very large wild wood pigeons which live in the garden (uninvited)

Numerous tomato, courgette, french bean, strawberry, and pumpkin plants which are living our window ledge at the minute. As a completely newbie gardener, I seem to spend a lot of time looking after them.

This is our cat "Pixie". The first photo was taken in september 2007, a few weeks after i got this lovely little nestling from my mom.
The second photo was taken today when our little predator defended it's box.

White cats with blue eyes are frequently deaf or become so later in life. Genetically linked somehow, coat color, eye color and hearing.

I have a cat called Sibbie (yep, named after the Strong Bad e-mail) a female rescue cat. She's fond of sleeping, but this is her even more zonked out than usual. She also has a habit of sitting contentedly on top of piles of paper I'm trying to work with.

Yes thanks, I am well aware of the genetic problems, used to breed Old English Sheepdogs in the UK. Same problem if the dog had 2 blue eyes, wall eyed did not exhibit this. (Have retired now)

The local dog rescue has a cat section & looking one day I found him, he was so friendly & loving I could not resist. Particularly as he had been dumped there by the breeder because of his problems. The Spanish are still very callous towards animals generally.

The biggest problems some breeds - dogs, cats, whatever is inbreeding by amateur people who do not understand genetics.

When you live in a barn, you've gotta' have cats to catch those little rodents! We've got two inside cats and have had anywhere from 1-30 outside cats/kittens. (If you feed them, they will come!!) We used to have two dogs (akitas) but they are no longer with us anymore. They were our children before we had a real child, The dog we have now is as good of a mouser as any cat. And since we've gotten her, our outside cat population has plummeted.

All of them are rescues. I love the fact that they all get along so well together!

P.S. Since we're living in the barn, there is no room for horses.

I'm down to only 3 dogs. Two of them are rescues. Well, not rescues so much as they would have gone to the pound the moment after we declined.

Adrian's not really a "pet", but I gave him a "monkey" vote anyway.
