I haven't had any problems with mine, but I was always getting the dictionary when I swiped with my 600, which got me into the habit of using the buttons to turn the pages which I prefer and use with the T1 as well.

Once I got use to the Reader software I now like it & I let it sync all my books with no problem. I hated the sync option in the old reader software & never used it.

I am extremely pleased with my T1.

Just a short update from my last post. The direct download of firmware update is also available on sony's German website (Version 1.0.03.11140).

For me, it seems to take a bit longer to start up the reader after the update. It doesn't really bother me so much, though.
