PB632 Date and time is always wrong

Hello!

I'm new here, so I hope I'm posting this where I should.

I have a strange issue with my PB632 Pocketbook Touch HD 3 - no matter what I do or what version of the software I'm using, the date and time is always wrong. It's not that the time would completely freeze, it runs somehow I think, but it doesn't show accurate time and I think it freezes when the device is off or sleeping. The option to synchronize time in settings works but only sometimes and the automatic synchronisation doesn't work at all.

I believe I have been experiencing this issue ever since I bought the device. I had to re-set the device once or twice because it wouldn't turn on, so I am wondering if this could be a hardware issue? Does it sound like it could be serious?

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

It is a known hardware failure. Only mainboardchange might help if you still had warranty.
