Kobo also has its own DRM which is easily removed, so you can buy from Kobo and never deal with Adobe either.

But stripping Adobe's DRM (for now) is a lot easier to deal with the resulting ePub then the kePub with the DRM stripped.

As I don't yet have a Kobo and I don't have any kePub, I cannot help with that part of the plugin. But I do have to say, I really like the <span> eliminator. I find way too many eBooks with these silly spans that do nothing but code bloat.

It's a bit more prolific, at least to my eye...which is why I'm working on an extension to the "Modify EPUB" plugin that removes that gunk. I thought I had the mods locked down, but a bug report came in yesterday that I need to address.

This is a line from an Overdrive ASCM file...<operatorURL>http://acsepub.contentreserve.com/fulfillment</operatorURL>

The URL you want is http://acsepub.contentreserve.com/fu...nt/statuscheck. So all you do is take the server URL and tack on /statuscheck to make the URL you want.

Thanks! I saw that url, but its labeled operatorURL, not fulfillment. Yeah, I know it has the word fulfillment in it... I take everything literally.
