BTW, did you know if you do NOT click in the "Reason for Editing" line, you do not get that "last edited" time stamp. I do it all the time.

I've been wondering for a while what will happen to the Astak threads come the end of August. Griffonwing will get his EZReader and he has a thousand books lined up. We may never see from him again. Poor Robertb will feel lonely with no one to talk to ...

Wow! I haven't watched the news for a few days, and I must've missed this.

All I can say is, this is a bad deal for China.

Although, there have been a lot of meetings between Chinese and Australian officials lately, so they might be planning to ship all the Brits to the Northern Territory, and use them to produce really expensive, poor-quality e-readers.

Very good point. The parrot seems to already have left the thread. Soon, Griffonwing will be inseperable with his Astak Slate Blue Pocket PRO.

I have some suggestions to change this thread so it survives:

1. Games!! Something like "Pin the Tail on the Kindle". People could try to outdo each other with the latest problem with Kindlism.
2. Make-up questions like: "Robertb, what do you think of the Kretchmo 9 inch?". Then I have to pull a mad hunt trying to find the Kretchmo.
3. Colors. We could ask if there is a way to change the colors of the Pocket PRO once the device is purchased. People buyone color and want to change it into a chartreuse or taupe.
4. Style! Everybody draws up their idea of what the latest Kretchmo 21 inch will look like and how to best place it into your pants pocket!

I have customed-made pants anyway, that have 23-inch pockets (doctor-prescribed for a skin condition), so t!e Kretchmo 21 would be perfect.
