I think it would depend on the temperature. I wouldn't want to be in Paris in a thong bikini in winter... As a matter of fact, I wouldn't want to be there in a thong bikini no matter the temperature! That was my thought too |

I used to be a member before I got my first reader. P.S. Obama might listen if he was told it would improve relations with the Chinese. Last edited by slayda; 06-12-2009 at 09:50 AM.

As far as the price of the eFlyBook (not really my point, but anyway...) the biggest reason it's that high is for the subscription to all of the airline/pilot specific data that is pre-loaded and then renewed (the ebook versions of those 50lbs of flight manuals).

 Gonna look right now.
Quote: I will take a look and try to plan. I THINK the COLOR 7.5 inch may be the ideal ticket. Flight manuals require color. This one is still highly confidential but we are working on it. THIS will be an Astak device... not any factory's device. Thank you!!

Robert, I'm assuming you're having a better day, since you have the humor resources to tease Griffonwing?

I have been awaiting bob's response since before I left for lunch. Apparenlty he is very busy translating the manual. (bob, here's a tip. Copy/Paste identical bits from the EZReader manual). |

Thank you. I am still frustrated about Jinke... but I have to keep an optimistic spirit and work for better times. The EZ Reader Pocket PRO is moving forward and we are still planning for the Pocket PRO is be a major shot in the arm. It is only that it appears to me that the Pocket PRO is everything I was hoping for and more. That makes Astak want to grab it, embrace it, and grow with it. What I do not need is some giant Retailer going behind our back and ruining a great introduction. On the other hand... the last few days have been filled with encouragement from so many MobileRead friends. The laughter, humor, and comraderie have really helped!

I will try and talk with Arnold and see if we can work something to help both companies. It is a great idea and very appreciated. We can at least link stores. Your info is clear and concise and I thank you!!

Yup!! That is the plan. There are some strong additions to the workings of the EZ Reader Pocket PRO (Epson, 400 MHz processor, 16GB capacity on SD card, and more) but little of this should change any if at all on the User Manual. The FAQ sheet may change a little with some new feature or two (I am not yet saying much about because I want to be definite first). The problem is, as Dale DePriest once told me, the User Manual for the EZ Reader was decent but not excellent at all. SO... I want to make some improvements too. Dale, essentially, beats me over the head when I do not do things right. Dale is a great perfectionist and holds me to a higher standard which I never attain. Of course we will have to add at least two pages about Slate Blue as a color and the historical significance of Slate Blue (the American Flag was intended to be Red, White, and Slate Blue; the pilgrims landed at Slate Blue Rock, and Chris Columbus initially discovered the color slate blue while looking for the West Indies).

I would have to agree with Phenomshel. Bob, you ARE crazy. How could you have forgotten to menion historical media tributes. Remember Elvis and his "Slate Blue Suede Shoes", Bill Monroe's "Slate Blue Moon of Kentucky", or even the band Deep Slate Blue Something. |
