If it can rotate to landscape mode and show you half pages, that might work for those that really need the print to be full size.

				Where is all the news?

I am almost ashamed about how fannish I've become over the potential of the Astak Mentor and this new generation of devices. But I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been more news. I know there's that show next week in NYC, but where's the buzz on all the gadget sites about "the Kindle's first real challenge" or some such thing? Should I be saving up my pennies for the Mentor? Is this the real deal? Or another compromise? (Pardon the venting) |

Will we be seeing an Astak Mentor Sticky soon? Seems like a lot of folks are interested and following developments closely.

I think when they actually debut, there'll be more attention. Until then, it's a bit premature, IMO. They're supposed to show them on May 14th so that's not much of a wait.

Looks like this ebook one is really interesting...waiting for images of it... just a question for RobertB: what's the rifraction percentage of the Mentor? just to understand if it is clearly readable also under the sun for example at the beach in summer.... :-) B.T.W.: I put my hand on rechargeable battery's suggestion for the Mentor because almost all e-books uses it and in this way we can recharge battery when it's empty Thanks, Ciao Luigi |

Hello delphidb96, I am asking that because I've heard about a prototype that Seiko Epson showed-off past autumn, which looks very impressive but actually it's only a prototype...you can see here: http://techon.nikkeibp.co.jp/english...071115/142508/ I tried to find any e-mail contact at Seiko Epson in Japan to ask more infos but haven't found any e-mail contact... so I'm here with this doubt... ;-) Ciao! Luigi |
