Noah Webster compilled a dictionary of English in 1806 in which he changed the spelling of many words in order for them to be easier to spell, therefore the "s" in many words that really sounds like ''z" was changed e.g. "realise" vs "realize", but did this really make things easier now that words have different spellings?

I don´t know what to think anymore; I´m feeling dizzy because of the Britification of Americanized vocabulary that probably came before the Americanisation of brittified words. Don´t you agree that "brittified" sounds exactly like "pretty fried" and that this might be the reason why I´m hungry now?
