But i am sure i'll bring it up again when more different devices are on the market and there is more time then in the middle of the summer ...

And iRex is never ever a B2B based company. Sorry but thats just some other excuse for them for not knowing how to act on the market. "Hey look at us we are not able to answer emails, bring up CRM, communicate with our costumers, etc. but we are so damn deep into B2B ..." ... sure - of course.

Think that is as true as our devices were shipped last monday

i hope they don't cite the near east trouble as the next shipping delay.

I doubt they would be that obvious. However I'm sure there is an eclipse coming soon, I'm sure that will screw something up.

Hmm, just because you are working for a business doesnt qualify for what iRex is targeting as B2B partners. Their main targets are contentproviders who can use hundreds or even thousands of devices for their customers. I would say thats a diiferent scale than what you need, isnt it? So i can understand, that they focus on that part. Lucily, they noticed the potential in normal customers and businesses that want the iLiad for other uses. That doesnt mean that this is their main business though. So cut them some slack. They are just too jung to see all potential of their device just yet.

Ah you seem to be "the believer" - i hope we can push this thread in 6 month or so to see all the companies using round about 500 Euro devices for their thousands of costumers ...

They better should realize that most of the "geeks" here are their real first costumers and multiplier which will maybe lead to real b2b or how do you think blackberry was brought to such a big business sucess.

But thats the difference between optimist and pessimist - i think i lefr the positive path lately and now the positive just look naiv to me ... *maybe needs more meditation*

omg now i got my tracking number but in the iRex document i got from them they left out the company name and just have my real name with my job adress inside.

Yeah think the UPS driver has to know every name of the employees in an 100+ company he drives by ... maybe in iRex fantasy. I think that is all i have to say about their so called "b2b orientation" :-)

Hope at least they labeled the package correct or i see more problems incoming ...

P.S. by the way anyone else thought "just another tojan spam mail" when this strange mail with attached pdf file came in? *g*

At least in my experience, not having the company name on the parcel isn't really important, I manage the IT purchases in my company and we get LOADS of stuff sent with a personal name instead of the company. Messenger walks in, asks "so and so?" and I say "yup, right here" or "nope, that's the other door, Marketing". Not really a problem, as long as the street address is ok.
