There's more than enough in this thread to keep an entire convention of psychiatrics happy for many, many weeks.
I'll definitely miss this thread most of all, once those Iliads start coming in.

Ah you can never have enough meditation ... even when those ileads come in ...

Imagine the ilead being delivered just to see it has a hardware failure and you need to send it in for replacement ....

Don't worry high5, we will probably need lots of meditation till then, and even after the iLiads arrive, i forsee some need of the meditation thread in favour of things that do not quite work yet with the current software

I've been praying...

But only in front of the porceline altar.

Hence me not being at work...

I'm not sure if the thought of my iLiad being there waiting for me would actually make it worse. So I'm pretty glad that it's not happened that way.

I'm sorry to hear that Riocaz...I hope you get better soon..

Here is the latest communication from iRex:

"Yes, I guess UPS will do that this week.
Basically we gave the notice of shipment to them on Friday, so they will pick up this week.
Regards,
Angel"

So not today then...oh well...^^

Now THAT's really a strange - and unprofessional! - kind of operation. If I would login to UPS they would be picking it up on the same day or in the worst case the next day. Esspecially if I gave them 20Euro...

ARGH!

From the UPS website and the way I was told some time ago from a UPS service guy:

UPS service for small businesses:
Daily pickup. It does not matter if you have stuff or not.

Btw. outsourcing things to stockpoint in Germany and then handling the delivery in Eindhoven doesn't make much sense neither.

I am having not too many problems if they cannot realize their plans (except that I think that this is poor planning and therefore unprofessional) in time. But I have some problems, when people are assuming that I am some kind of stupid. Unfortunately the whole Irexshop story we are told just looks this way...
