You don't have any browser_cache_path set in the previously attached file. You need to uncomment the appropriate line by removing the leading '#'.

Thanks, my mistake, I was wondering about the "#" in front of the parameter. A case of board in front of my head.
Unfortunately the original bug is back now.

Did you uncomment the code like Jimm told you, because I still see "#" in front of the code in your txt file?

I meant here: "#use_browser_cache_only:false" and it should be set to true.

In the menu go to "Customize FanficFare" 2nd tab "personal ini" use "Edit Personal.Ini"

But if this is your first time editing it, you might want to read some of Jimm's tutorials first .

Under fanfiction.net's section:

## use_browser_cache_only:true prevents FFF from falling through to
## request from the server when a page isn't in the browser cache.
## You can turn this on to be sure you're only using the browser
## cache.
#use_browser_cache_only:false

Uncomment and flip this to true. It'll disable the fallback to website and display whatever's causing the cache to fail.

I've read the tutorial and performed it as far as I understood.
Thanks for the hint.
This works great for stories with only one chapter.
Because now only the cache is converted, there is now a chapter error in stories with several chapters.

Did you manually visit every chapter of multi chapter stories first? For it to be in the cache you need to go to the page first.

Did you check the defaults.ini? I checked it and see different setting on different sites, so you might want to check it yourself.

You'll find the default.ini on the same tab as the personal.ini

I have a question about updating Ebub with browser cache option for FFN.

I have an epub with 260+ chapters, for example there are 6 new chapters.

Do I have to open all 260+ chapters in the browser to be able to update it, or is it enough to open chapter 1 and the new ones in the browser?

Only first and new chapters are required update an epub.

Just make sure you are actually doing update if new chapters, a lot of people seem to set overwrite as default then complain about issues from that.
