I can download it just fine, do you have the following line in your personal.ini?

is_adult:true

and your login for AO3?

After their server change this morning I now get an error from trying to download from AO3, not individual links but story urls from website doesn't work anymore.

It doesn't matter if it I have any filters on it or not.

I've just run into a small, not super urgent bug while downloading a series. I grabbed "The 7 AUs of Christmas 2018" (https://archiveofourown.org/series/1228217) with the anthology from webpage option and instead of the title being "The 7 AUs of Christmas 2018 Anthology" the title was "Sustained Me (Soulmate Inner Voice) Anthology" - it looks like it pulled the anthology title from the title of the first story instead of from the title of the series. I tried it again after downloading the new test version and the result was the same. Other series I tested downloaded with the proper titles so I don't know what's up with this one. I attached a debug log so you could check it out, but like I said, it's not super urgent, just a little weird.

A series title like that doesn't come from the web page you pulled the story URLs from, but from the stories all having the same series metadata.

Because the first story lists "The 13 AUs of Christmas 2017" as it's first series and the second lists "The 7 AUs of Christmas 2018" as it's first series, FFF doesn't recognize them as being in the same series. AO3 is the only site that FFF collects multiple series for, and only the first one is considered for the anthology code.

The fall-back code in that case is to take the first story title, like you saw.

So, while less than perfect, it is operating as designed.

Hello everyone, I'm a new user (but a long-time Calibre enthusiast) and I have to say this plugin is really great! Kudos to the creator(s)
But I'm experiencing some issues (I have the latest version of the plugin and calibre as well): when I try to download a story from Wattpad that has GIF images in the text (not in the header) the process fails and in the xhtml files inside the epub there's this: <img longdesc="failedtoload" src="failedtoload"/> wheres the GIF image is supposed to be (this happens with AO3 as well, and I tried multiple stories on both sites)

maybe the solution is really simple, but is there some setting that I have to enable/disable? The only thing that I found is in the default settings: #convert_images_to: jpg

I haven't noticed any issues with images, but I don't read Wattpad and I don't think I read any AO3 stories with images.

If you can provide a few story links and point out some specific chapters, that will help with troubleshooting.

(In fact, I appreciate it if you include at least one story URL whenever reporting issues.)

I'm running the test version, have my AO3 login in my personal.ini, as well as is_adult:true and always_login:true .

But when I commented out always_login:true, it worked.

That fixed that problem, thanks! On testing it with something archive-locked, though, I threw another error, which only occurs when both is_adult:true and always_login:true are set. If I comment out is_adult:true, then it goes away.

. . . actually now it's throwing that error message unless I comment out both is_adult and always_login , for non-archive-locked things, after successfully downloading the above thing after only commenting out is_adult.

I'm able to download that story now with is_adult:true and always_login:true plus username and password set in personal.ini.

That error is what happens when you don't have a correct username or password. Correct login is detected by the string "Successfully logged in" on the page after login.

Are you sure your username/password are correct? Are you using a different site skin?
