Just an FYI, I downgraded to v1.6.5 and Mantano now works like it always did. I opened a support ticket with the above issues, but I also made sure to turn off updating Mantano in my Xoom (since the new version is unusable for me). Thanks!

Am I the only one who can't get the bookmark function to work? It used to work just fine. Now, I touch the bookmark area & nothing happens.

ok I admit I did not read all the 751 previous post, but I saw that the project md is following the thread.

I really need to say something...

Mantano is great, but still there is something missing like his competitors, is not optimized for study I mean i have my notes highlights, but still also if I open the window to read them, are available only with 3 rows, when instead......the purpose of an ereader should be edit but also study what you did, not to tap every highlight to read the corrispondent highlight. So far the only one that permit me to read my annotations this is repli go reader, but still miss a lot of functionalities, as to edit the table of contents, and have a clear view of what I did, insert frames in the background, an off line dictionary integrated with the simple touch as with the kindle.

All in all, I would think thousand of people would like a reader, that after the edit permit to read the notes without to send by email. Also really i do not understand why the notes sent by email are with the data they have been made, when the most useful feature for a lot of people could be probably read the notes did, because if I highlight as student, what then I want is to read the synthesis i did with the notes. it looks really logical to me, I do not why dozens of readers miss this study feature!

I have tried Mantano for a few days, and overall it works well, but on a couple of books, when I try to turn a page, the app freezes and I get the "Not responding" dialog, and the only option I have is to kill the app. Whenever I reach the same page on the book (it kicks me out to the previously read page, before it crashed), freezes again.

Anybody else experiencing this problem? The book opens fine in other readers.

Also, maybe a minor point, but I find the additional fonts rather pointless, they are "pretty", but totally useless for a reader.

I think it's an issue with the new version out. It's buggy to say the least. I downgraded. 1.6.7.4 is stable and works fine on both my Fire and my phone.

Thanks. I submitted a ticket with the crashdump, hopefully it will help the devs figuring out what's wrong.

I'm not sure what version that is. I've looked and the latest on the market is 1.7.6.5 but I am using 1.7.6.4. Where did you buy yours?

Check again: 2.0.2 is up. Seems to work fine, though I don't remember using Collections before so they may have changed the interface. I'm running on ICS, but should work the same in Honeycomb:

Select the books (enable checkbox) then touch the Arrange button that appears at the top of the screen. That will bring up a dialog to choose the Collection to add to.

Yes, I found it yesterday... It has been changed, because originally, there would show up a button on the bottom.

This is probably a stupid question, but how do you upgrade Mantano Reader? I bought version 1.6.4 on Android Market, but can't find any information about updates in the help file, on Mantano's web site, or in the market. Do you just download another version and install it? If so, does it know that it's a registered version? Or do you have to uninstall the old one first? Presumably you don't have to pay for it on each update.

Hi, I own a Galaxy Note, specially chose that phone because it has a screen large enough to double as a really nice reader.
Tried some readers and settled on Mantano, which I really like.
Two things could be better on my phone:
- after some time, one or two hours, the app is closed, I suppose by the android OS.
Restarting it brings me back at the main menu, but 9 times out of 10 I want to continu reading the book I was reading, so it would be great if Mantano on startup would just continu where it was left, or, perhaps even better, make it an option: on start go to main menu/book last read.
- on my Note the steps between fontsizes feel slightly too large, more fontsizes would be great.

Apologies if this has been said before, reading al 50+ pages of this threat, mostly referring to now obsolete versions of the app was not an attractive option.

I think that has something to do with your phone, as I always go back to where I was when I continue reading. If Android closes the app, it's probably a force-close and the required data isn't saved.
