If there has to be a hat and it has to represent a P.I., then it has to be a fedora. Given that in the book Harry has no hat and given that the hat on the cover is not a fedora, I say all the covers are a botch job of the highest order.

Backup is available in Side Jobs and the Bigfoot stories are available in Working for Bigfoot. Hex Appeal is available as an eBook. I don't know where Backup originally came from.

Backup is in Side Jobs but does NOT include the illustrations by Mike Mignola.



Backup was a special illustrated short story only published as a hardback by Subterranean Press.



“Bigfoot on Campus” is from Hex Appeal, edited by P.N. Elrod



“Bigfoot on Campus” was republished in Working for Bigfoot.

I borrowed Side Jobs and see that it does include Backup. Looks like I'll be stuck with reading Hex Appeal in hardcopy - that seems to happen about once a year - last year it was Third Policeman...

Los Angeles Public Library has Hex Appeal in both Kindle and ePub formats.
