Just finished Changes. Wow, that was an incredible addition to the series. The title really says it all. Anything that could be changed, has been.

What should have been a perfectly straightforward exorcism is rapidly turning into the Who Can Kill Castor First Show, with demons, were-beings and ghosts all keen to claim the big prize. But that's OK; Castor knows how to deal with the dead. It's the living who piss him off...

Hmm..... That does sound interesting, but also scary as hell.

No more scary than the Dresden Files. Very similiar in tone without being (IMO) a ripoff or clone in any way.

Dead Beat was AWESOME!!! This could easily become my favorite of the series, even tough I still like Summer Knight as well.

I am not very forgiving of Morgan. I, like Harry, now understand the guy a little better, but still...No. Especially, after his visit at the end of the book. I just don't like him.

Although, I'm liking Murphy much better now, it was kind of nice not haivng her around that much, in this book.

Tell me how you feel about Morgan after you've read Turn Coat and how you feel about Murphy after you've read White Night and Changes.

Oh, don't get me wrong... I look forward to seeing her back in action! I just appreciate the break. I can't put my finger on exactly when, but I warmed up to Murphy over the last few books.

As for Morgan, he is obviously a great & dedicated Warden, but he has an unforgiving, bull headed, mean streak, and I just don't like him.

Of course, I wasn't a fan of Murphy's either and that's changed, so I guess my feelings about Morgan may change as well.
