So I did begin my reread of Codex Alera. I am on the first book.
I forgot a lot.

Should have done this month ago.
The nice thing about Jim is, he usually doesn't write anything not worth reading. Not a lot of wasted fillers. Most everything is or will be an essential part of the story. Kind of what I like about his writing style - and that doesn't change if it is Codex Alera, Dresden, Cinder Spires.

Oh Real Life....
I miss reading so much!!!! Work has had me so busy. Plus, I'm waiting to hear back from the local state college on my transcripts. It's going to be weird being a student teaching students.
On a positive note: I'll either get to keep my current teaching assignment for a while, or they'll find a permanent teacher and I'll be able to dedicate more time to my going to school (if I can get off my ass and complete my FASFA).

Finished The Aeronaut's Windlass. I'll give it .5 out of

My initial 47 day wait time for the library ended up being 10 days.

For some reason, while reading, I kept thinking how this could easily be made into an excellent movie.

My reading has slowed down considerably as well, though not for the reasons you report. What are you going for at college?

Finally finished Game of Thrones part 1. As I finished this one just before sleeping and I had not yet synced my reader, it is first Monster Hunter Legion before the Aeronauts Windlass... After that the latest Alex Verus novel. Hmm, gonna be great reading days.
