Yes they are, in the sense that they follow a timeline.

Plus, Dresden will occasionally make reference to earlier books. He's already mentioned both books 1 & 2 in Grave Peril, however,it was done in a way where you did not have to read the other stories.

Finished Death Masks (freaking awesome!), just started Blood Rites...Im so beyond addicted. I have to limit myself to 2 per month but it's hard when I finish them within 2 - 3 days.

Something about this story is rubbing me he wrong way, and I can't figure out what it is. 34-ish chapters in (51 pages left to go), and I think I'm just getting impatient. It feels too long. I'm tired of Lea, I'm tired of Bianca, I'm tired of The Nightmare... I just want it all to end...now.

Well, you can't have it end *now*. That wouldn't make any sense. It has to end 51 pages from *now*.

Nyssa, bizzybody is correct, you shouldn't quit now, but when you've finished it I think that you should take a break from the Dresdenverse. You should consider inserting a book from a different genre into your reading schedule as your next book.

Oh, I didn't give up! I have 17 pgs left to go and I am enjoying it again. If I never see those ladies again, however, it will be too soon!!!

Sorry for pouting, I just had to get it out of my system.

I was actually planning a break Alan, in the form of the February Nomination for the Mobile Read Book Club. We start nominations today, but it will be at least a week before we get final results. I may go on to book 4 in the mean time, but I haven't decided as yet.

Well... that was somewhat unexpected...the nature of the quasi-finale, I mean. Plus Butcher ended with a cliff-hanger...
