That last checkbox, pass column data was what was wrong. I'm not sure why it changed. Like I said, it was working, and then it wasn't. I'm not sure how it happened, as it *was* working and then it wasn't.

As for the rest of it, I was aware of how most of it worked. I could have specified some more of the information, and I had to correct the first sentence (I did so almost immediately) but you still based some of it off the old post, I apologize because it was only the one single issue I was having.

I know you spend a lot of time writing out those posts (especially those like mine that are more technical), and want to thank you for the time you spend writing them and replying to dumbasses like me that probably accidently clicked on that checkbox at some point when I was doing something else and never realized I had.

FYI... Someone on reddit is claiming that they have downloaded the ENTIRE ff.net database using fanficfare. The person also said they are currently downloading all of AO3. Seems like a massive abuse of your resources if you ask me.

Interesting. I'm not sure what to think about that.

Considering Sturgeon's Law very much applies to fanfic, it doesn't strike me as a particularly good use of time and bandwidth. And I would have expected 2 chapters/second for 1.5 years to have tripped a network block, but I can think of cases where it wouldn't.

This may raise awareness of FanFicFare for a while. But if someone was willing to spend that much time at it, they could have added a couple more days and written their own downloader if needed. They had to have already done some additional scripting/changes to get it walk the entire site at that speed.

Maybe. It looks more like a blog site where some posts are fiction. Can you provide a URL to an example of a multi-post/chapter story on that site?

It's mostly short stories and "flash" fiction.

- Fix for mediaminer.org site story URL changes.

mediaminer.org has changed their story URL scheme from URLs like:
http://www.mediaminer.org/fanfic/view_st.php/61553
to URLs like:
http://www.mediaminer.org/fanfic/s/r...missions/61553

I believe the test version posted will work with both old and new story URLs and will update existing stories to the new URL when you update them. However, depending on your settings and how you update, it may stop and ask you to OK changing the story URL.

I don't read mediaminer.org, so I need some testers who do to make sure these changes work for more than the couple test stories I picked at random.

Questionable questing doesn't seem to work, urls for it are being filtered out as bad input and the settings block I made for it generates a warning about invalid settings.

When I wrote the code for that site forum.questionablequesting.com didn't work properly: it had to be questionablequesting.com (without forum.). I remember because I wanted to use forum so it would match the other two XenForoForum adapters.

Now that it does, I'll make FFF accept them, but the 'official' URLs will still be questionablequesting.com.

Alright, sorry to be on this repeatedly but I noticed one more problem with questionable questing, and that is that it doesn't seem to log in, even given a login and password to access the stories on the nsfw forums.

User/pass login for XenForoForum base adapters hasn't been implemented. I didn't find any need for SB or SV and QQ was added because it was low hanging fruit after adding SB & SV.

I'll have a look at it later, but no promises.

I'm having trouble downloading 2 quotev stories even after the last test version and restarting calibre.

Everything else downloads fine.
Just wondering if there's any way to download them.
