I found what you were speaking of and put it in the [epub] section. It works, but where I define newline is red. It doesn't give me an error though, it's just red. Could that eventually cause problems? If not, I won't touch it further.

The color highlighting is just an aid. It's not definitive. So, no, it shouldn't cause problems.

Im updating my fic and I keep getting this File is not a zip file?

Before you do that, is the epub readable?

Is your disk full? (We've seen that before.)

Do you have FFF's auto-convert feature turned on while convert is set to output epub by default? (FFF should recognize that, but I've seen it be a problem before.)

I just deleted the file and redownloaded. I thought maybe the file was corrupt.

No the auto-convert is not turned on. and my disk is not full.

It worked when i redownload. Im not even sure why it happend

Hi,

I'm new to fff (found it yesterday and have now installed the calibre plugin).

I am extremely impressed and would just like to say thank you. I did have a question regarding metadata for maturity type rating but i've found it and it works a charm - ideal to ensure I don't put the wrong books onto the children's nook

@ginger_tosser, glad you like it.

Be warned, however, that the rating metadata varies considerably from site to site. Some will say 'FR15', others 'T', etc.

Thanks for the info. I haven't really ventured beyond www.fanfiction.net and it works on that site.

This might be a good opportunity for me to brush up on my Python skills to see what I can see.

Mine is working but others are having this issue

I've uninstalled and reinstall FFD- Updated Calibre - Tried changing back to Blueberry Org in my TWCS preference ( fatal MySQL error was encountered) - Restated my system - When I try to download in PDF format I only get the Summary, word count and banner. No chapters..Moble or Epub I get nothing at all..

An MySQL error will be a site error, nothing we can do about that, but you could report it to the site.

FanFicFare doesn't have PDF format output. Are you sure you're reporting in the correct place? Epub is the preferred output format for FanFicFare.

Please give story URLs when reporting problems.

I don't see anything wrong with twcslibrary.net downloads.

Love this plug-in, it has saved me a huge amount of time. I used to create epubs of my favourite fanfics manually all while trying not to read them to avoid spoilers. Anyway, since I updated the plug-in yesterday both downloading new stories from URL and updating existing fanfics does nothing. It does try, but it just sits at 0% until I tell it to cancel. I even left it for about 20minutes this afternoon, and nothing. Internet connections are fine, so I'm stumped.

It's working fine for me and I assume most users, since I'm not buried under problem reports.

I suggest that you try installing the plugin again, making sure to restart calibre. If that doesn't work, try rebooting your computer. I know it shouldn't matter, but for some users it has.

If it still happens, post some of the story URLs it's happening with here. It could be specific to certain sites or stories. Also run calibre in debug mode (Ctrl-Shft-R) before trying to download and posting the debug log here (use [code] tags).

I was about to write this post saying that the latest update nuked my personal.ini file....

And then I realised that I downloaded the fic to my alternate calibre library and I remembered that personal.ini is stored per library, not per calibre installation.

So no issues
