The Queen of Paree, Princess Zelda
Descending a tall helda skelda
Clad her Sony liseuse
In a set of mink furs
For safety and luxury shelda

Said Zelda in that flat of hurrs,
"Stroke this case, I swear that it purrs;
A tether of leather
To keep it wherever
I go, and it's Liseuse in Furrs"

Queen Z took that furry liseuse
With her when she walked by La Meuse
But this pastoral ramble
Was disrupted by bramble
So now it's a liseuse in furze

"I shall hang," said Queen Zelda of Paris
"My landlord from yon nearby arris,
For my lounge window leaks
(Hence my ear-splitting shrieks)
And detracts from the look of my palace"

crikey, this thread has been jumping since the last time i stopped by !! brilliant new limericks ! i have to admit a particular appreciation for alecE's offerings (also a particular groan --among the many, many groans-- for "liseuse in furrs"

). thank heavens for late flights, eh ? the world would be a sadder place without limericks about liseuses.
