After installing the widget with KWGT, and turning on the mars with the launcher nova, the widget stays charging all the time and is not visible

You need to enable Kustom Widget to autostart every time you reboot in "User Settings -> Power Management -> Application Startup Management -> Boot from boot".

Or you could manually launch the KWGT app every time you reboot.

I really want to swipe down the side (like in Moon Reader) to control the brightness in every app. Any ideas on Android apps that might work for this?

Device: Nook Glowlight Plus (2015)
So this device has been out for about a year- is it still worth buying?

I have a Nook Glowlight Plus (2015) I picked up for $50 a couple of years ago and I'm using it a lot- my eyesight isn't what it used to be and would like a larger screen. I'm wondering if this device would be the best for me (I like the idea of being able to load my own apps) or should I just wait for something like the new Glowlight Plus to go on sale? I could have picked up a refurbished Kobo Forma over the weekend for ~$150 but after reading about all the issues with the flickering backlight I decided otherwise.

Since you have a Glowlight I assume Nook Books are part of your reading. The Mars doesn’t do the latest versions of the Nook app, you have to sideload an older version.

No Nook books, just a lot of sideloaded ePubs.

Not as versatile as Fire 7/8, not as quick as old Kindle 5. I got it for the larger screen, for outside reading --and it works pretty well for that. But it's slow and jerky, page turn is jerky -- just no comparison with respect to performance. It's an overpriced reader, usable but I'd not recommend it with high marks. As I said, Mars mediocre. 3/10 as a reader, 1/10 tablet function.

Wow, that's a pretty negative assessment. I bought mine about a year ago and am still very happy using it as a reader, mostly for scientific PDFs, occasionally a regular ebook. I'm not using the default reader, but Librera Pro (and ReLaunchX as launcher). Since they added a regular way to switch apps a while ago, I currently can't think of any complaints with the device. I also don't find it particularly slow, yes it probably isn't as fast as my phone or tablet, but while reading PDFs the only time I might have to wait for a second or so is when first opening a file and sometimes when jumping around in the document, i.e. skipping 10 pages ahead or back and stuff like that. Regular page change during reading is essentially instantaneous as far as I can tell.

I hope, there'll be an upgrade to Android 8 for future proofing as hinted at for the newer 10 inch reader/writer, although I'm careful not to be too optimistic about that getting to the Mars. Would be a shame if it didn't though.

People have reported that the Onyx Nova is yet a bit better, so if I were looking for a 7.8 inch reader now I'd weigh the price difference to the purported benefits, but as a device I'm still quite happy with the Mars as my travel reader.

Due to the large number of pages can someone please answer me to these questions?

1. Is it normal for AI handwriting to not work with alita? I am using a screen protector.

2. How can i read adobe drm books? The format is ascm

3. Is there a way to rename the bookmarks by the default app?
