Does anyone know which font is used for the Likebook logo? I just made some new wallpaper for my Likebook Mars. I resized, cropped, and greyscaled a piece of art for Edgar Rice Burrough's Princess of Mars, and I wrote "likebook mars" over the top with the Ubuntu font. While it does resemble the font used for the logo, there are subtle differences.

There are some font sites that can try to figure it out.

https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

Here is the logo I took out of the stock one with some simple cutout and just on the stock background if you want to just resize and stick it in there.

I couldn't find a matching font, but I did make use of the logo image you provided in making my lock screen wallpaper. Since I used copyrighted artwork in making it, I'll just describe what I did instead of sharing the finished product. I started with Michael Whelan's artwork for A Princess of Mars. This is a landscape sized painting he did in 1978. It can cover both the front cover and the back cover of a book, and it does not include the book title or the author's name. I resized the image to have a height of 1872 pixels. I then cropped off as much as I needed to of the left side to give it a width of 1404 pixels. I greyscaled the cropped image. I extracted the word "likebook" from the logo, deleting everything surrounding it. I wrote the word "MARS" below it in the "Blippo Blk BT" font. I tried to match its width to the width of "likebook", but since I couldn't get an exact match, I let "MARS" be a little bit wider. I resized my "likebook MARS" text to fit the width between the two columns in Whelan's picture. I transformed this into its negative, making it into a brush with white text and a transparent background. I set the brush's transparency to 70%, and pasted it between the columns, so that the gap in the A in "MARS" came just below the peak of the arch John Carter was walking underneath. Since I use my Likebook Mars upside-down with an app that rotates the screen, I rotated the image 180 degrees so that when I press the power button, I will see it rightsideup.

That's the one. Since I didn't know the artist's name at first, I initially came across a grainier, darker, slightly cropped version. I have now remade it using this cleaner, brighter, fuller image. On my Likebook Mars, the image appears darker than it does on my LCD monitor, and as lock screen wallpaper, it doesn't get the benefit of the lighting on the device. So, starting with a brighter image has helped keep it from looking too dark on my Likebook Mars.

You should also change its color pallet to greyscale in photoshop or GIMP so it is correct if you haven't before putting it on the device. Sounds like you did though.

Yes, I converted it to greyscale before pasting the text onto the picture. I wanted the image on my computer to look as much like what I would see on my Likebook Mars as I could get it.

I read in forum thread Likebook Alita "you can send the problem to likebook@boyue.com, now boyue is collecting the feedback from market and will take 2 month to fix all the user mostly meet firmware problem or add new feature". So i sent 2 requests for the next firmware update : the ability to mix gradually cold light and warm light with a single progressive slider and more customization of the Home page with the ability to remove "Quotation" and "Reading time" to replace it with other shortcuts. We will see what they will do...

How can I transfer the books from my PC to the micro SD that I've put inside the Likebook Mars using Calibre?

I could easily transfer books via USB using Calibre on my previous Kobo's uSD.

Am I missing some configuration?

I have no problems transferring my books to my Mars from Calibre via USB. I have a micro SD installed and when I right click on a book in Calibre, select "send to device", then select "send to storage card A" and the book is sent to the micro SD.

I also routinely use the Calibre Companion app to transfer books from my Calibre library via WiFi without issue.

I'm using the most recent version of Calibre, Windows 10 64 bit on my PC. On my Likebook Mars, my micro SD card was setup as "portable storage" and not as "internal storage". If you are having problems seeing your Likebook Mars micro SD in Calibre, it could be that when you first installed the micro SD in your Mars that you set it up as "internal storage" (i.e. the Mars treats it as if it were additional system storage to the native 16GB it comes with) and not "portable storage" (i.e. a separate removable drive of storage). Maybe worth checking via "Android Settings", "Storage & USB" to see if your micro SD is listed as "portable storage". Otherwise I have no ideas to offer if you are having problems seeing your Mars Micro SD in Calibre...

There is something I miss a lot and is to see the cover of the book, when I open the reader, the ideal would be instead of the image.
Some of you I read had a background with the widget of moon reader with the recent book/ I would love to have this functionality, but I have this black wallpaper if I install nova, and the list of book(in the widget) remain only the first time I set them, then the widget does not work anymore showing a black background. Somebody knows how I can see the cover before opening the books?

The ideal would be like was for the sony erader, that the initial background would mingle with the coverage. Maybe we can facilitate bouye to speak with the dev of moon+reader, would be a win win.

Not really a fix, but you can use a fullscreen KWGT widget.

You could make a widget that only displays an image and place icons or even other widgets I think on top of it, or you could build an entire homescreen widget like I did. Check this other post too: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...23&postcount=5
