Right, I’ll not delete that!
Any ideas why it keeps coming up with no entries rather than the 20 or so I’ve put in a collection? It was working fine until this DE upgrade where I then installed the booklet version of LS... TVM |

@wow400: Err, can you repeat that, but in details, clearly, and without mixing terminology? Because right now this doesn't make much sense, and I have no idea what you might actually be talking about

Sorry for the tardy reply - just back from holiday!
Aah, I’ve been using the standard setup with Calibre so I’ll have to look and see if Calibre with the collections plugin is looking in the correct place for the file. Thanks & I’ll report back... Cheers, Nic |

Spoiler: it is (they're written to work hand in hand).

Aah, thanks NiLuJe!
Any ideas then why either Kindle Collection Manager or Calibre isn't picking up books in my collection when it worked flawlessly before? (and that's before my JB PW3 was accidentally updated to 5.12.1, I installed the latest hotfix & the booklet variant of KUAL. I then hid the old KUAL using a shell script, updated Python & Librarian Sync) Kind regards, Nic |

And for the benefit of anyone else having the same issues I did, what worked was clicking 'ignore exported collections databse' then as was well again!
Thanks. |

I recently updated my add-ons and extensions to the latest releases from June 5 (my previous update was like Feb-Apr of last year
![]() This is on PW3 32GB Manga (purchased in US via Woot) running older customer FW 5.8.11 (I believe last FW version with Kindlet support). Haven't tested yet on any of my newer devices/firmwares but this is the error I get running via terminal. Spoiler:
Typed that in manually since I just ran it via kterm for Kindle so I apologize for any typos. I don't think I have USB Networking set up on this device and I've kinda forgotten how to get that working with Windows 7. I never really figured out how to do the SSH over wifi so I'm unable to remote in from my iPad. P.S. Custom screensaver add-on is working so I assume python2 installed fine. P.P.S. In case it matters, I also have python3 installed. Last edited by ilovejedd; 06-10-2020 at 03:52 AM. |

@ilovejedd: Ah. of course cffi broke on Python 2 right between the build I tested and the hotfix rebuild for the zlib issues
![]() I'll fix it in the next build. In the meantime, you *might* be able to run LS via Python 3. |

Thanks! Question though, how can I force LS to use Python 3?

I was on mobile with no way to check, but, no, it probably won't behave on Python 3 without some hand-holding, so, let's table that idea for now

Okay, back home
![]() https://github.com/NiLuJe/librariansync *should* now be able to run under Python 3 (untested). Just swap the python2.7 to python3 in the shebang. (Because new builds won't come until a few days, most likely around the end of the week-end ![]() |
