bad news. it seems that the power socket in my EE broke and now the EE is discharged. Perhpas someone else can try?

just to say that I get luck in directly writting eink's display buffer today.I may still continue to do some development on pe/ee though there seems to be no much interest from other device holders.

I'm interested! Always impressed to read what you've been able to accomplish. I figure one of these days I might want to tweak my EE or PE, but for now they do what I want (more or less) so I don't face my techno-fears and implement change.

I know I'm not alone in my admiration for all you've done, Javese!

That is great news. So you are saying that it may be possible to see what you are writing on the eink screen??

I'm still trying to fix my EE. I disassembled it and now I'm trying to find a way to replace the broken socket

The power socket should be the same as the PE - or very close, so what I said on https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=146609 applies to the EE as well.

As has been said by Filark your work is appreciated.

In my case I have each of your releases downloaded and waiting. I say waiting for two reasons - my EE is not rooted and because it is now essential for work it will remain unrooted until I can find one at a reasonable price over here in Europe (new ones from the suppliers are, if anything, now more expensive than when I bought mine).

I watch your work with considerable interest and hope that I can use it some time.

Try "Allied Electronics". They should have a supply of jacks.

In the US no, in Europe RadioSpares http://uk.rs-online.com/web/home.html

There has to be the equivalent trade supplier in the US and in HK or China - we sometimes find it better to go to the manufacturer in China but that requires buying in large quantities

Can you read the e-ink screen digitizer? Would it be possible to create a drawing program with this somehow?

We basically have a Wacom tablet in our hands and I'd love to use it for sketching.
